Trash bag evidence

I use a generic trash bag brand that boasts “multi-purpose use.” Like what? Poor man’s suitcase? Sometimes they do show up at crime scenes, however.

I figure only the brave, dumb, or really bored people, look inside bags tossed along the road or in open fields or woods.

One person got a particularly nasty surprise a few years ago when he found human remains inside bags near Umatilla, Fla.

The remains were that of a woman who had been dead for a while but had not been murdered. Police arrested her adult daughter on charges of collecting mama’s railroad pension checks after she had checked out.
